Iran launched approximately 180 ballistic missiles at Israel in retaliation for the assassinations of Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah in Beirut and Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. The attack targeted the Nevatim and Tel Nof airbases as well as the Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv. Israel's defense systems, including the Arrow 2 and Arrow 3, engaged the incoming missiles, aided by U.S. naval forces in the Mediterranean.
