U.S. President Barack Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act, which includes provisions targeting international companies that continue to do business with Iran in certain industrial sectors, such as shipping and ports management. The new law also targets state-run media, and seeks to block Iran from obtaining critical materials such as aluminum, coal, and steel.
