Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom announced that Russia and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding for the construction of small nuclear power plants in Iran. Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) head Mohammad Eslami earlier told Iranian state media that Iran plans to build eight nuclear power plants.
