This page contains profiles of Iranian entities researched and written by the Wisconsin Project. These entities - persons, companies, institutes, government agencies - are thought to be contributing to Iran's nuclear, chemical, or biological weapon capabilities or to its missiles or advanced conventional weapon programs.  Many of the entities have been explicitly identified by governments as contributing to these programs.  This page includes entities that were removed from official sanctions lists in January 2016 as part of the nuclear agreement with Iran but remain of concern because of their past support for Iran's nuclear, missile, and military programs.
